🥊Fighter Friday: Meet Judah A Brave Brother, Fighter, and Future Survivor

Hello Reader,

On this Fighter Friday during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honored to introduce you to Judah. A courageous 8-year-old who’s showing us all what it means to fight with heart, hope, and fierce determination.

Judah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at just 6 years old. He’s now about halfway through treatment, with the hope of completing it by April 2026.

Judah is one of four siblings in a beautiful, close-knit family of six: Mom, Dad, Emilia (12), Luca (5), and baby brother Micah (11 months). He loves soccer, Legos, fishing, and especially time with his baby brother.

Earlier in treatment, Judah faced a terrifying complication from chemotherapy that nearly took his life.

But this brave boy fought back with everything he had and today, he continues to press on. When his counts are stable, he’s even able to attend school with the help of a 1:1 aid.

But like so many families walking through a cancer diagnosis, the challenges go far beyond medical.

Between extended time off work, extra childcare, specialized nutrition, parallel therapies, and the emotional toll of the unknown, Judah’s family is doing everything they can to keep up, stay grounded, and hold onto their home.

Their greatest hope right now?
To finish treatment, stay financially stable, and someday give back to families like theirs.

This where your support comes in.

At Brave Like McKenna, your donations help ease these burdens so families like Judah’s can focus on healing, not just surviving.

This September, let’s honor Judah, and every child like him.
Let’s keep showing up for families in the fight.
Let’s turn awareness into action and heartbreak into help.

Awareness alone isn’t enough.

With your help, we can turn Judah’s story, and so many others, into action, relief, and hope.

Please consider making a gift today to stand with kids and families in the fight.

P.S. Every gift, big or small, helps families like Judah’s feel less alone in the fight. 💛 Thank you for your support and generosity!

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Brave Like McKenna Foundation
