🥊Fighter Friday: Standing with Lucy in Her Battle Against ALL

Hello Reader,

This week, we’re honored to introduce you to Lucy, a brave little girl whose strength and spirit inspire us all.

Just before Christmas of 2024, Lucy and her family received the life-changing news that she had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). What should have been a season filled with light and joy quickly became one of uncertainty and fear.

Lucy’s mom shared that this diagnosis has completely turned their world upside down. After starting a new job in May of 2024, she’s not yet eligible for FMLA- but like any mother, she longs to be by her daughter’s side through every treatment, scan, and sleepless night.

Over the next 2.5 years, Lucy will undergo treatment that requires countless appointments and trips to the hospital.

The family is in need of a new vehicle to ensure she can get to these critical appointments safely. In addition, unplanned medical expenses and concerns about job security have created added stress in an already overwhelming season.

At Brave Like McKenna, we know that behind every fighter is a family doing everything they can to stay afloat while caring for their child. That’s why your support matters so much.

Every donation, every prayer, every act of kindness helps families like Lucy’s focus on what matters most... helping their child heal.

Please keep Lucy and her family in your prayers this month.
Pray for strength, provision, and hope as they walk this long road ahead.

Together, we can be the hands and feet of love that carry families like Lucy’s through their hardest days. 💛

Your donation to Brave Like McKenna helps us continue to help families like Lucy's. Thank you for helping us, help others.
